Holodomor means massive starving of people in Ukrainian. In Ukraine, according to reliable estimates, at least 8 million people - among them 3 million children - died of starvation in five hundred days some 75 years ago, as a consequence of compulsory food procurement and confiscation by the Stalinist regime. Generations died off, several million people suffered damages to their health for the rest of their life. The horrors experienced wounded the soul of forty million people. The
entire population of cities and villages died after horrible suffering. Men ate men.
